| Welcome to “Taking Cities,” where we are literally transforming cities of America through the word of God one person at a time. Whether by accident, incident, or coincidence, we bless God for enabling you to visit us. Many of us always hear about the negatives surrounding our cities which often affect our teenagers such as violence, drugs, premarital sex, etc. However, the Taking Cities Ministry is designed to equip our youth spiritually, physically, mentally, and emotionally, that we may surround those negatives through the presence of God, and not allow them to surround us. We seek to minister through the preached word of God, songs in the form of gospel hip hop as well as psalms, and through education in the form of after school tutoring. We tutor elementary, middle, and high school students in the areas of English, Reading, Writing, Math, and Science. It is important to know that taking your city does not start with the city itself. It starts at home. Cities don’t make up homes. Homes make up cities. The sooner we see a change in our homes, the sooner we will see a change in our cities. |
